Hello

I come from a large family of girls.  We were not what you would call middle class, more like lower middle class.  My parents both worked hard and took college classes in order to advance in their careers.  They taught us that education was the key to success.  I believe that is true, however, I would say knowledge is the key to success as education can often mean formal education, such as college.  I did go to college, however, my focus was psychology, not finances nor real estate. 

I started by professional real estate career after several other careers.  Real estate allowed me to use what I had learned in other fields as an advantage to my clients. I began taking every real estate class I could, read books, and found investment groups.  I wanted to learn everything I could on the topics that interested me.  

It wasn't long before I was teaching classes to other realtors on how to get started in the business, classes on the contract, as well as other topics. 

When my clients started to ask me to teach them I started with First time buyer workshops, and move on to investment classes.  

I was a top selling agent very early in my career, and as my clients became investors I formed my own real estate firm. 

As I taught my clients the things I was learning or learned I developed a stronger sense of confidence and knowledge that changed my financial future but my clients, as well.  

After almost 30 years as a real estate agent/broker I retired from that career to focus full time on my investing and other businesses.  I could afford to not work, however, I was doing the things I love, so I wouldn't call it work.  My hope is the guide you to the road to your financial success.
